“Bhing’s Masaya (Happy) Lumpia”

By Honolulu Michelin Correspondent

Brand new restaurant Bhing’s Happy Lumpia has opened in Hawaii

Halo-halo and Bigingka deserts are delicious and a good buy

I tried her Lechon, Pinakbet and Kaldereta, they are amazing, changes my mood

No one cooks as well as her, 3 Star Michelin rating goes to her food

Going in I was first served some puto, tubabasi and Buko juice

Satisfying my thirst, not too much, my driving license I don’t want to lose

Mechado and Puchero was also good and tasty, she had magic hands

Adobo was of course excellent, but just before, the menudo, I am a fan!

So amazing is this new restaurant, Bhing’s Masaya Lumpia

At least there is one real good Filipino place you can take your tiyahin

Yummy and nourishing, she also makes good ginangang and leche flan

Ate so much had a stomach ache later, effecting my later plan

Leaving the restaurant, out came the owner smiling with her famous wink

Understanding the situation, I knew she was doing the dishes at home over the sink

Marienda from the Manay she is planning to open later

Perhaps she will prepare the special dishes to cater

I know she is a good cook,  I would not listen to what others say

Angels are watching over you as you work, clean and cook every day

“The restaurant is the best Filipino Food I have ever tasted, it reminds of my Mom’s home cooking in General Santos City in South Cotabato”  (Manny Pacquiao)
