Welcome to the world of JURLIQUE natural beauty products from the Mount Barker region of the Adelaide Hills in South Australia . The products are all organic and biodynamic, and are created from the natural herbs at the Jurlique Farm, with many of the herbs indigenous to Australia. The line has plenty of celebrity support, and with Jurlique spas in New York , Santa Monica and San Francisco , and this appears to be a rapidly growing cosmetics company. Lets start with the Citrus Hand Cream ($25), a rich cream that leaves the hands soft and supple. Be careful not to use too much as this stuff is quite effective, especially if you massage into the backs of the hand and then finish with the palms. Main ingredients in this product are Marshmallow, Chamomile, Calendula Rose, Daisy Sweet Violet, Pansy and Echinacea.

New products from Jurlique include Jasmine Body Care consisting of Shower Gel ($22) and Body Lotion ($38), and Love Balm ($15).The Jasmine shower gel consists of 92% natural ingredients and wraps the skin with the scent of jasmine, and the body lotion contains 97% natural ingredients. Jasmine has long been a subject of rituals in ancient cultures from South America to the North American coastline, and the jasmine flower is known for its nightly blooming powers. The blended ingredients maintain their rich herbal potency making the shower gel and body lotion two big items to the Jurlique portfolio. The love balm is a multi-purpose face and body moisturizer that helps treat sensitive, very dry and chapped skin. The interesting ingredient here is an anti-microbial agent called Totarol, a natural plant extract drawn suistanably from recycled fence posts constructed years ago from the Totara tree in New Zealand .  I also liked the sun screen lotion quite a bit, very light and offering SF30 protection, and you can trust the Australians to know a little about sun protection.
